Pieper Warrior Youth Cheerleading

Building Spirit, Skills, and Sisterhood!

Founded in 2022, the Pieper Warrior Youth Cheerleading program is dedicated to supporting our Youth Warriors while preparing young athletes for future cheerleading opportunities, including middle school tryouts. Open to Grades 1-6, our cheerleaders learn the fundamentals of cheer, dance, and stunting in a fun, safe, and energetic environment—all while bringing the Warrior spirit to the sidelines!

What We Offer

📣Cheer & Dance Fundamentals
Our cheerleaders learn a variety of cheers, chants, and routines to energize the crowd and support our football teams.

📣 Game Day Experience
PWYFA Cheerleaders perform on the sidelines of all youth football games, building confidence and team spirit.

📣 Team Placement & Squad Organization
For sideline cheer team placement, we prioritize keeping football and cheer siblings together first, then fill out the remaining spots per squad. While we aim to group cheerleaders by age, placement may vary annually based on registration.

📣 Preparation for Middle School Cheer
Our program provides an excellent foundation for future cheerleaders, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed for middle school tryouts.

📣 Safe Stunting Techniques
We introduce age-appropriate, safe stunting, helping young cheerleaders gain strength, coordination, and trust in their teammates.

📣 Sisterhood & Community Engagement
PWYFA Cheer is more than just cheering—it's about building lifelong friendships, fostering teamwork, and being actively involved in the community.

Practice & Attire Expectations

Our cheerleaders work hard to develop their skills and perfect their routines, and we set clear expectations for practice to maintain a professional and unified team appearance.

💜 Practice Attire that parents must purchase:
✔ White cheer shoes
✔ White no-show ankle socks
✔ White cheer bow
✔ Black shorts

LOCAL GAMES

1. Expected to travel to Bulverde Middle, Pieper Ranch Middle, Boerne ISD, Boerne Champion, Canyon Lake, Jumbo Evans, Wimberly

AWAY GAMES

1. Must travel to (1) away game as determined by the cheer coach upon schedule release from HCYFL.

2. All other away games will be assigned to a “local” game. “Local” Game will be determined by cheer leadership to not have an overabundance of squads in one location.

3. Parents with siblings in football can make determination on local game or not

PLAYOFF REQUIREMENT

1. Cheer team expected to travel with assigned football team for all playoff games regardless of location
